International Seminar on Next Generation Air Traffic Engineering Systems - NGATES was organized by CNS Officers Guild on 10th September 2010 at India Habitat Center, Lodhi Road, New Delhi. The Seminar was inaugrated by Mr Yashwant Bhave, IAS, Chairman Airports Economic Regulatory Authority of India (AERA). The key note address was delivered by Mr. E. K. Bharat Bhushan, IAS, Addl Secretary and Financial Advisor Ministry of Civil Aviation. A souvenir was also released on the occasion by him. Mr S. C. Chhatwal, Member (Finance) Airports Authority of India and Mr B. Pradhan, IAS, Chief Vigilance Officer, Airports Authority of India addressed the delegates during the inaugural session. Mr Yvan, President, International Federation of Air Traffic Safety Electronics Associations (IFATSEA) represented the IFATSEA CHQ and made a presentation to enlighten the delegates. The seminar was attended by 200 delegates and participants from Ministry of Civil Aviation, Director General of Civil Aviation, Airports Authority of India, Aeronautical Society of India, Foundation for Aviation & Sustainable Tourism, International Transport Workers’ Federation, Federal Aviation Administration, Members of SESRAR JU, CNS Professionals across the country, ATM Professionals from CHQ, leading manufacturers and suppliers in the aviation sector.
